Meet the Coaches
Coach Brock enters his 30th year of teaching with the last 20 here at Fort Mill High School. He is a 1988 graduate of James Madison University where he wrestled collegiately. Over his 30 year career he has been instrumental in the production of multiple state championship teams as well as individual state champs, all-Americans, and national champions. Upon arriving at Fort Mill in 2001, he along with assistant coaches and community support started up the first middle school team, the Fort Mill Wrestling Club, and the Fort Mill Youth Wrestling Program.
He has been recognized multiple times as Region Coach of the Year as well as the NWCA State Coach of The Year.
Coach Brock lives in Fort Mill and is married with three sons.
Coach Doran has been an assistant coach at Fort Mill High School with the Varsity and JV teams as well as Head Coach of the MS team since 2004. Coach Doran grew up in central New Jersey where he started wrestling in high school. He attended Arizona State and Trenton State College (The College of NJ) where he wrestled collegiately. He graduated from Trenton State and then served as a graduate assistant wrestling coach at the University of Georgia where he earned his Master’s degree.
He has coached several MS wrestlers who earned National and state places including an Elementary National Champion, several MS All-Americans, three MS State Champions and three MS runner-ups. He has been voted outstanding coach of the York County Middle School Conference when the program competed in the conference.
Coach Doran lives in Fort Mill and is married with two daughters and a son who wrestled in the program.
Coach Marullo is originally from Auburn New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Brockport with a degree in Physical Education.
Coach Marullo is entering his 15th year working as a teacher and an Assistant Wrestling and Football Coach. He has contributed in the development of multiple Varsity and Junior Varsity State Champions, State Placers, and All Americans. Coach Marullo has been recognized as the NWCA Assistant Coach of the Year.
Coach Marullo lives in Charlotte NC, with his wife Lori Marullo.
Coach Miskelly is a 2005 graduate of Fort Mill High School. He was a State Placewinner competing for the Yellow Jackets. He wrestled for the Limestone Saints in college and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Winthrop University.
He has been on the Fort Mill High School coaching staff for 11 years.
